’Edsbacka krog’, the first Swedish restaurant that got two stars in Guide Michelin will close

The owner Christer Lingström says to SvD that he needs a new challenge and might open other bistros and restaurants.

A restaurant was first opened in Edsbacka in 1626. The house has alos been used for other purposes through the years and the current restaurant was opened in 1983.

It is not clear yet what the premises will be used for.
