Sancta Klara church in central Stockholm has recently opened up their doors for the homeless during nights, and they should also take car of the sleeping bags according to Enochson.

Bratt Hernberg at Sankta Klara Church says to Swedish radio that he is happy for the sleeping bags but that more political measures are needed as well. Enochson claims that they are already doing a lot and that the minister for public health, Maria Larsson, are giving priority to this matter.

According to the Swedish radio, 17 800 people in Sweden have “an unclear accommodation status”. 900 of them sleep on the streets. The numbers are however five years old.
