Turbulence outside Iranian Embassy

Unrest broke out today at the Iran Embassy in Lidingö, outside Stockholm, where several hundred demonstrators had gathered on the occasion of the anniversary of the Islamic revolution in 1979. According to the police there were stones thrown. Two people were arrested and a further person is said to have been injured during the protest. Those arrested are suspected of crimes against the knife law, violent resistance and violence against police officers. (TT)
