Social Democratic victories in recall elections

Two recall elections have been held in Sweden this weekend: in Örebro (local level) and in Västra Götaland (regional level). The Social Democratic Party came out as the winner in both. This strengthens the position of the new social democratic leader Håkan Juholt. (DN)
