The Centre Party (post-agrarian, green liberal) is breaking new ground in Swedish party politics when three candidates now declares that they openly compete in becoming the party leader. As expected, it was the Centre Party's economic policy spokesperson Annie Johansson, Minister for IT and Regional Affairs Anna-Karin Hatt, and Member of Parliament Anders W. Jonsson, who were presented as candidates by the party’s election committee. 28-year-old Annie Johansson has been singled out as the favourite for the post.
