Shortage of manpower in certain industries

Nearly one in five among Swedish employers find it difficult to recruit people of the right skills, according to a survey of 750 companies by recruitment firm Manpower.  The greatest shortage is of craft workers, like carpenters, welders and masons, with the right training and experience.

Other professions that it is difficult to recruit are cooks, technicians, sellers, trained staff in forestry and agriculture, senior managers, engineers, drivers, sales and middle management.
